Michael Jason Wade, 32, of Kenosha, died Tuesday, (Sept. 26, 2000) at Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest, Ill., after a two-year battle with brain cancer.
Born Oct. 22, 1967, in Kenosha, he was the son of William and Kay Wade.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he attended Kenosha schools and graduated from Tremper High School in 1985. During high school, he was active in music groups and bike racing.
He received a degree in electrical engineering from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
From 1985 to 1989, he served in the U.S. Air Force.
He married Tammy Ballowe on Oct. 18, 1997, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville, Ill.
For the past five years, he was an engineer at Motorola Corp., in Libertyville.
Surviving are his wife; his mother and stepfather, Kay Wade Wikel and Denis Wikel of Kenosha; his father and stepmother, William and Marilyn Wade of Kenosha; and three brothers, David, Garrett and Matthew, all of Kenosha.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jack Thomas Wade, on July 16, 1999; his maternal grandparents, Warren Diveley and Ruby Diveley Sills; and his paternal grandparents, William and Flossie Wade.
