2008 Division 1 State Champions

 A team dominated with eight seniors finished the season on a 17-1 run that culminated in the Div. 1 State Championship. On the road to the championship match, Tremper beat top ten teams from Westosha, Burlington, Middleton and West Bend East before taking on the #1 team in the State, the Pius Popes. Tremper prevailed in one of the most exciting four game matches ever in which all four games had an identical score of 25-23 with Tremper winning the first two and the fourth. Exceptional offensive play by Abby P, Mariska V and Rebecca K to go along with the stellar defensive play of Amanda S, Lauren M, Mallory R and THE BLOCK by Beth L, proved to be too much for Pius who may have come into the match underestimating the roll the Lady Trojans were on. Coaches Sabrina Scifres and Larry Apker were thrilled to have the opportunity to coach this team and be a part of history at Tremper. (Official Tremper Girls Volleyball Website)
